Our claims professionals are dedicated to making it as easy as possible to take care of your business.

An innkeeper in Asheville, North Carolina, faced ruin after lightning struck a tree on his property, knocking it onto power lines.

A subsequent power surge caused the meter in his 1890s Victorian bed & breakfast to explode, igniting a fire that burned down the inn taking with it all of the property's gorgeous period furnishing. Worse still, this bad luck struck at the outset of his peak season.

When Western World received notice of the incident, a Property Claims Manager was rapidly on the job working to get the Inn back up and running.

Because we understand the unique needs of inn operators, we were able to quickly advance a portion of the claim, stemming losses in revenue and satisfying the guests with alternative accommodations.

With Western World, the innkeeper was able to get back to the business of being in business.

Our Claims Manager worked with the Inn's contractor to secure additional labor beyond that estimated in order to get the devastated property up and running in just four weeks - two weeks earlier than originally estimated.

Our responsiveness hasn't changed over the years, but how we serve our clients and insured is constantly evolving. We launched WWIP, the first platform that allows brokers to rate, quote, bind and issue right on the web. And our search bar on the main Western World website allows visitors to find forms, applications, people, and more with fewer "clicks" and everyday language.

We're dedicated to making it as easy as possible to take care of people’s businesses.
